Member Assistance
PHS Member
Services is the department responsible for providing members with
a representative to assist the member with PHS services. Some of
the assistance provided to members include:
- Choosing or
changing the primary care provider
- Understanding
the benefit information
- Making
appointments
- Obtaining
medical transportation
- Addressing
health care problems
- Answering
eligibility questions
- Information
about PHS and how we make decisions
- To report
suspected cases of fraud and abuse
- Finding
alternative services if the member is no longer enrolled with
PHS
- Preparation of
the member handbook and newsletters
- Providing
translation services if needed
Our
regular business hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through
Friday
The
Member Services Department in Tucson is open from:
7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday and Saturdays from
8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
