MATERNITY CARE SERVICES

Maternity Care Services provided for members of child-bearing age. Maternity Care Services include, but are not limited to, preconception counseling, identification of pregnancy, prenatal medically necessary care, delivery services and postpartum care. In addition, related services such as outreach, education and family planning service are provided. Behavioral health services are also available.

Under the direction of the PHS manager, maternal-child health (MCH) staff assist members in effectively obtaining all appropriate and necessary services. The PHS commitment to each member is to promote prevention, wellness, and maintenance of optimal health by providing and utilizing education, service, and treatment.
